This is probably not a very healthy. Actually it’s not healthy. It’s really just comfort food. I made this when I got home to Oregon this winter break and there were all these glorious vegan foods in the fridge that I usually don’t get to buy because they are a bit expensive for my budget (I served it with Tofurky Italian sausages with chili and cheese on top). But, after eating this, it’s making me reconsider whether I should give a damn about my budget or not…

And for all you vegans hoping to have some delicious recipes to serve at your Super Bowl party, this dish is definitely a must. Serve with Vegan Chili Dogs and soy milkshakes!

Vegan Chili Cheese Fries Recipe

  1. Before cooking, sprinkle salt, to taste, over the frozen fries. Cook the french fries according to the directions on the package. Take them out when they are golden brown and crispy.
  2. Divide the cans of chili into four equal parts and heat on the stove or in a microwave according to the directions on the label.
  3. Divide fries onto four separate plates when they are done. Pour chili over the fries. Sprinkle as much cheese as you want over it! Add salt, ketchup, and/or mustard to your liking. 😀
